DW's motorcycling history

The second bike I bought was a Kawasaki ZX-6R J2 in Blue, this was in very good condition and Anne and I had a very pleasant 8000 miles on it including down to the Ace Cafe, London and to Goathland, North Yorkshire.

I passed my CBT on the 30th March 2002, and obtained my full motorcycle license on 15th December 2003. I have owned 4 bikes during this time. The first was a Yamaha 125cc Dragstar.

We finally decided that if we were going to do that many miles, we needed a bike more suited, hence the BMW K1200 LT. This is a bus made for doing the miles, comfort comes as standard !!

I'm sure DW will tell us why he got rid of the Beemer and opted for the Kawasaki VN1600 life style. This he has also sold in preperation for his emigration to Canada. Where no doubt as a mountie he'll get a horse if not his man?
